Fun Music FundamentalsTeacher: Sue Condit
Learn the fundamentals of music using balls, sticks, floor mats, and more! You will learn steady beat, rhythm, pitch, note reading, and even how to compose your own songs through fun, hands-on activities, and games that get you up and moving! Mrs. Condit is an experienced teacher, performer, and conductor who holds a master's in music education. Students will prepare for an end-of-the-semester demonstration.

Recorder KarateTeacher: Sue Condit
Learn how to play beginning recorder while collecting leveled, colored belts to hang on your instrument! You will learn basic fundamentals of music and music reading through instruction with Mrs. Condit, an experienced teacher, performer, and conductor, who holds a master's in music education. The instrument, book, and materials are included in the class fee. This is a year-long class with a performance scheduled at the end of each semester.

Beginning StrummersTeacher: Sue Condit
Bring your guitar, pick, and a tuner, and jump into learning basic, beginning guitar chords through praise music! You will learn how to tune, how to name the notes on the open strings in preparation for picking, and how to read a chord chart. Students will prepare for an end-of-the-semester demonstration. Mrs. Condit is an experienced teacher, performer, and conductor, who holds a master's in music education. Required: A guitar that is appropriately sized for the student (nylon string guitar is recommended), tuner, and picks. - Small class size

Make a joyful sound with handbells as you learn about pitch, rhythm, and note reading. This is a hands-on, interactive program that prepares you to play from sheet music, or with guided handbell videos from YouTube. Students will perform at the end of the semester. Mrs. Condit is an experienced teacher, performer, and conductor, who holds a masters in music education.

Come join us for fun singing games that use balls and rhythm sticks, squiggly lines, and moving with scarves! Students will learn steady beat, rhythm, pitch, and how to move to music. Mrs. Condit is an experienced teacher, performer, and conductor who holds a master’s in music education. Students will prepare for an end-of-the-semester demonstration.

Dynamic drummingTeacher: Eric Bruck
AGES 8-18 Period 5 (1:30-2:25) Anyone and everyone can play the drums! It's never too early or too late to pick up some sticks and become a drummer! This course aims to equip the beginner student with the fundamentals needed to learn how to play the snare drum. This class will include one weekly semi-private drum lesson where the student will learn: how to read drum music, how to play patterns and rudiments while counting out the beats, how to use correct sticking & how to have fun while working hard to become a confident drummer! |

Beginner combo class – Ballet & Tumbling.
A fun class that begins with devotions followed by tambourines with worship music.We teach a poem on how to remember the 5 ballet positions with French terminology and basic technique. This includes ballet steps across the floor and finishes the last half of the class with beginner tumbling. Pink ballet slippers are required.

This is a beginner ballet class for the older student. This will teach the discipline of the professional Ballet class. This class consists of the Ballet barre technique, across the floor and center. We will have a Christmas performance. Pink ballet shoes, comfortable stretchy clothes for class. Hair needs to be pulled back off the face. For the performance, we will need pink ballet tights and a black leotard. There will be a costume fee of $15.00 closer to the performance time for the Performance Ballet skirt.
