Employment Opportunities
We are actively seeking new teachers for the 2012-2013 school year. We are especially looking for academic teachers for all subjects and ages. Please read about our requirements and use the online form below to apply to teach at The Learning Vine (both Academic and Enrichment classes)
Academic Teachers
We are looking for organized, experienced teachers, preferably with a college and/or homeschooling background, to work with us. Applicants must have a biblical worldview, a passion for their subject, and an educational philosophy that embraces academic rigor and excellence. We are a college prep program with high expectations of our students and teachers. We work with the parents, so an understanding of the homeschool environment is essential.
Teachers are expected to teach on Monday mornings, grade student work during the week, and communicate regularly with parents. They are paid according to the number of students they teach, so the pay varies from teacher to teacher. We meet for 32 weeks out of the school year. Teachers are independent contractors, and there are no company benefits. Teachers are expected to attend monthly teacher meetings.
Enrichment Teachers
We are always interested in hearing from prospective Christian teachers who would like to teach a unique Friday enrichment class. If you have a passion for a subject area, are organized and energetic, have some teaching experience and a Christian worldview, please apply below. Friday classes do not require grading or homework. One teacher meeting per semester is required.
