New family enrollment ~ Step-by-step
**This process can take as little as one-week or as long as a month depending on the response of the prospective family to the available testing dates. Interview scheduling is also a factor in this process. Thank you for your patience.

Does every student have to be placement tested?
All students applying for enrollment into any academic class will require placement testing. This process helps us to ensure that your student will be successful in the classes that you have chosen. We do not consider testing or transcripts provided by other institutions as a substitute for our own placement testing.
Students enrolling only in our Friday enrichment program will not be required to do any type of testing, but we will conduct an interview to get to know you better before finalizing enrollment. |
We have been part of LV in the past. Are we a new family?
Welcome back, friend! It is wonderful to see familiar faces return to the LV community.
If your student was not enrolled at LV within the last year you will still need to complete the "new family" enrollment forms. If you are enrolling your student(s) into academic classes you will also need to schedule placement testing for them. We have found that having you complete a new application is the best way to ensure that our records are up-to-date, and placing student in classes where they will find success. Like any new family, your student will not need to participate in placement testing if you are only enrolling them in enrichment (Friday-only) classes. |
