HANDS-ON LEGOTeacher: Colleen Williams

-New build themes! New challenges! Each week students will participate in a themed LEGO challenge, and most importantly have a chance to exercise their LEGO creativity and problem-solving skills. For returning students, please note that due to rising LEGO prices we will not be offering LEGO sets to bring home at the end of the semester moving forward. However, we will continue to have our LEGO CLASS STORE where students can use the “stars” they earn in class to shop for LEGO bricks & minifigures to add to their home LEGO collection!
States Escape!Teacher: Kate Romero
Ages 8-12 PERIOD 3 (11:00-11:55 AM) Can you break out in time? Using escape rooms, we will explore many of our 50 states in a fun and engaging way. Along the way, we will strengthen problem solving skills, critical thinking skills, and get experience collaborating with peers.

Escape Room Round upTeacher: Kate Romero
Can you crack the codes in time? Using escape room activities, we will introduce or review a variety of high school level skills all while strengthening critical thinking, logic, and problem solving in a collaborative setting. Topics to include: cybersecurity, workplace professionalism, ACT/SAT prep, Latin/Greek roots, First Aid, and others.
