Our HistoryThe Learning Vine was established in 2000 as a homeschool cooperative program in order to provide a place where homeschooling families could come together to offer academic and enrichment opportunities to their children in one location and to build a sense of community among homeschoolers in the Naperville and surrounding areas. Over the years, The Learning Vine has gone through several phases and changes, and currently exists to achieve its original mission of supporting families choosing to provide a home education to their children.
We now offer enrichment classes on Fridays and Academic classes on Mondays and Fridays to accommodate the various needs of homeschooling families. The Academic Program was instituted in the fall of 2009 and admitted approximately 100 students in its first year. We have added staff and now service preschool through twelfth grade. |
Our FaithThe staff and families at The Learning Vine represent a wide variety of Christian traditions and denominations. We are not affiliated with any denomination or with Grace Pointe Church where we meet.
We affirm The Apostle's Creed, which has been professed by Christians for over one thousand years. I believe in God the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth: And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord, Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, Born of the Virgin Mary, Suffered under Pontius Pilate, Was crucified, dead, and buried: He descended into hell; The third day he rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, And sits on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; From thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; The Holy Christian church; The forgiveness of sins; The resurrection of the body, And the life everlasting. Amen. |
