enrichment Spanish Teacher 
The Learning Vine offers various enrichment classes for grade K-12 homeschool students.  We are currently seeking one or two teachers for the enrichment STEM classes.  These classes are offered on Friday mornings from 11:00am until 11:55am for ages 9-13 and 12:30pm until 1:25 pm for ages 6-10 throughout the 2018-2019 school year.  

STEM lab enrichment Teacher description

  • Me gusta el español (ages 8-10) meets Fridays 12:30 pm – 1:25 pm
  • Exploring Spanish (ages 10-13) meets Fridays 1:30 pm - 2:25 am
  • Teachers are required to arrive 30 minutes before class to set up and prepare classroom and to remain after class as needed to clean up. ​​
  • Create and execute syllabus and weekly lesson plans using the Spanish for You Curriculum.  
  • Supply materials for each lesson.  
  • Manage a classroom of at least 8 and no more than 18 students.  
  • Set the standard for classroom behavior and expectations for Christian conduct for the school year.​
  • Willing and able to work with a team of co-workers; setting a model example of a professional Christian educator.

Teacher Requirements

  • H.S Diploma; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Knowledgeable in area of interest.  
  • Some prior teaching experience preferred demonstrating the ability to work well with a group of children in a structured setting.   (ie public/private school, homeschool coop, church, coaching, etc)  ​
  • Be in agreement with the mission, vision and statement of faith of The Learning Vine
  • A willingness to work closely with Homeschooling parents to educate their children.  
  • Be willing to submit to appropriate background check ​
