Physical Education (Kinetic Wellness) focuses on learning proficient locomotor, axial and sports movement skills for personal wellness using traditional, non-traditional and cooperative games. Wellness concepts discussed include the five components of physical fitness, muscle and skeletal identification, and proper warm-up and cool-down.
Your student will have FUN learning movement skills in a social and educational setting. Activities are designed for individuals, partners or groups to help each student develop a Christian perspective on sportsmanship, health and fitness. At the end of each semester families are invited to join students for a game activity!
PE 3 will include a fitness component. Students will concentrate on muscular strength and endurance with kettlebell exercises. Students will need a Kettlebell (10lbs or less)

Littles' PETeacher: Nick Fairley
Littles PE is a class where movement equals FUN! Littles PE is an early introduction to the fundamentals of gross and axial motor movement in order to set a strong foundation for future sports, dance and fitness goals. This class seeks to instill a lifelong love of movement! Love of movement is instrumental in developing a healthy attitude toward exercise, nutrition, and life! Students will work on these foundational principles of fitness through creative game play, cooperative games, and station work. A snack will be provided by the teacher.

A fun high energy class that begins with devotions followed by warm up exercises then learning basic tumbling moves such as somersaults, cartwheels, handstands, backbends, etc.
