| Description | Students will experience first hand the three branches of American government. We will hold mock campaigns, mock elections, mock trials, and propose legislation. Students will assume roles of president, vice president, senators, representatives, judge, jury, etc. during class activites to enhance learning about the requirements as well as the responsibilities of the major offices within the judicial, executive, and legislative branches. Please note, all discussion of political parties will be kept unbiased and class participants will not be allowed to discuss their opinions of various political parties. |
