Frequently Asked Questions:

1. How do I register my child for The Learning Vine?

  • Fill out the ONLINE registration form.
  • Print off and fill out a FAMILY registration form for your family.
  • Write checks out to each teacher for the class fees, or put cash into labeled envelopes.
  • Bring the Family form and checks to the first day of class and give to the respective teachers. Please give the Family form to your child's first teacher of the day.

2. What are the parental responsibilities during the co-op?

There are no parental responsibilities other than ensuring very young students (ages 3-7) get from class to class safely.

3. Can I drop my child off or do I need to be present?

We do not recommend leaving the building if you have children under the age of 8 in classes at The Learning Vine. Otherwise, you do not need to be present. A registration form must be filled out so that emergency contact information is on hand at the church.

4. Are there any discounts?

Discounts are up to the individual teachers. For example, "Karate Dave" has a family limit of $20 per session. Other teachers may allow your child to come free if you volunteer to help in the class. These situations need to be worked out ahead of time with the teacher.

5. Can I post an announcement on your mailing list that may be of interest to those on the list?

No. The Learning Vine mailing list is meant only for news pertaining to our own co-op.

6. Are you affiliated with any denomination?

No. All of the teachers at The Learning Vine are professed, born-again Christians of various denominations and churches. We are not affiliated with our host, Community Christian Church.

7. Are refunds allowed once classes have begun?

This is also something that each teacher decides. Refunds are generally given if the student cannot attend any longer due to relocation or illness.

8. Can my child start in the middle of a semester?

This is up to the teacher. Some classes, like art and karate, may take students mid semester. Others that are more academic may not. Please email the teacher to ask before registering mid-semester.
