The Learning Vine Homeschool Extension Program

32 Weeks—Now with a longer school year!

All classes meet on Monday only except for grade 7-12 math, which includes a Friday math lab.

Initial Online Payments:

New Family Application Fee: $100 / $125 after June 23
 * includes placement testing
 * Only $75 if family took LV Enrichment classes in the last 12 months
 
Student Registration Fee: $30
 * Includes Fall enrichment registration
 * Facility Fee (per class): $10

Tuition Payments:

Prices include classroom supplies, lab fees, weekly lesson plans (at home assignments) and most grading/assessments (varies by level)

 * Paid directly to teachers at orientation
 * Fees do not include textbooks, novels or basic school supplies which may also be needed.

Make out two checks to each course teacher on Orientation Day:

First check--
 * First semester tuition
 * Give directly to teacher at the orientation

Second check--
 * Second semester tuition
 * Give to Learning Vine Director
 * Director will hold checks until November 28, 2011
 * Will be forwarded to course teachers on November 28, 2011

Make out one check to each course teacher

Orientation Day:
 * Give directly to the teacher
 * First semester tuition
 
Make 3 more payments—September, October, November
 * Second semester tuition (each payment 1/3 of this)
 * $10 charge per payment—convenience fee
 * Give to Learning Vine Director
 * Director will hold these checks until November 28, 2011
 * Will be forwarded to course teachers on November 28, 2011

KinderVine Classes  - Grades: K4 and K5

 * 6 possible blocks (50 minutes each)

 * Math Connections; Nature Explorers Science; ABC’s Games and Rhymes; Letters, Sounds and Words; Little Literary; Movement and Music; Artistic Adventures
    * $240.00/per block, per year ($7.50/week)

Elementary Classes  - 1st-6th Level Classes

 * 6 possible blocks (50 minutes each)

 * Math Classes; Literature/Reading; Writing; Latin; Art  (meet 50 minutes—Monday only)
      * $240.00/year  ($7.50/week)

 * History and Science Classes (meet 50 minutes—Monday only)
      * $272.00/year ($8.50/week)

Junior and Senior High Classes  - 7th-12th Level Classes

 * 5 possible blocks (60 minutes each)

 * Literature; English; History; Government; Latin II and Spanish                     
     * $336.00/year ($10.50/week)

 * Math Classes  (meet 2 day per week—60 minutes Monday and 50 minutes on Friday)
      * $384.00/year ($12/week)

 * Science Classes  (meet 75 minutes—Monday only—includes labs)
      * $416.00/year ($13/week)


Placement Testing:

All new academic students and former students who are taking a new subject for the first time are required to take a placement test for all classes. Reading, writing, and math skills will be assessed and appropriate levels will be recommended.

 * Once your application has been reviewed, you will be notified regarding placement testing times and locations.

 * KinderVine classes do not require placement testing.


Study Hall:

Students who are in the building on Mondays must either be in a class, or in the Study Hall ($90/year). Otherwise, they must be supervised by their parent or guardian during that time.
